Thanks to the heart and soul of our valued Charity Runners and their supporters, the Charity Runner program is expanding Nationwide and in the process is taking on a new name - DetermiNation!
Thanks to the determination of our Charity Runners, this exciting endurance event program will now be available in cities across the country, which means more races to choose from and more athletes joining our nationwide community committed to helping save lives. As part of our nationwide expansion, the program is also getting a new name. Over the course of the next year, our valued Charity Runner athletes will become part of the DetermiNation endurance event program - a nation of athletes determined to end cancer!
The expansion of the DetermiNation endurance event program is not happening with the flip of a switch! Hundreds of athletes signed up this year as a Charity Runner, and on race day they’ll show their determination as a Charity Runner! They will receive all the participant benefits, and have the American Cancer Society with them every step of the way, to ensure that their experience is exceptional. And when they (hopefully!) continue their efforts to save lives as an American Cancer Society endurance athlete by signing up again for this event or for one of our new events they’ll be joining the DetermiNation program, and becoming part of a nation of athletes determined to help save lives.
