Members of the Pacesetters Club are committed to achieving extraordinary fundraising results for the American Cancer Society DetermiNation program. Through your fundraising efforts, you are "setting the pace" in creating a world with less cancer and more Birthdays.

Why join the Pacesetters Club?
Your reason for participating in the DetermiNation program is as unique and special as the story that motivates you. Becoming a Pacesetter is your opportunity to take that passion for fighting cancer to the next level. As a DetermiNation Pacesetters you can expect to receive the following perks as our thank you for going above and beyond in your fundraising efforts:

• Acknowledgement at DetermiNation events, pasta parties and post-race events
• Recognition and appreciation on the DetermiNation Web site
• A Pacesetter Singlet or bib that can be worn on race day
• Invitations to special recognition events The honor and pride of knowing you are helping to end cancer

How do I become a Pacesetter?
DetermiNation Pacesetter participants will be required to reach an individual fundraising goal of $4,200 at one of our 85+ DetermiNation events around the country. Ready to set the pace? Here's how to get started:

• Sign up online at your event Web site to participate in your local DetermiNation event
• Set your individual fundraising goal at the Pacesetter minimum of $4,200 or higher
• Send emails to your friends, family members, and coworkers, asking them to help you reach your goal
• Use the sample fundraising letters and tips found in your DetermiNation Welcome packet

Once you reach or surpass the Pacesetter minimum in donations, you'll become a Pacesetter and a member of the Pacesetters Club!
